I enjoy being an Associate Professor on internationally accredited EMBA programmes and a keynote conference speaker, where I get to share the wisdom I have learned about emotional intelligence and how it can help make dramatic improvements to behaviour, success and happiness.
Organisations I have given talks to or trained with include GSK, Deloitte, Western Shipyard, Anderson Consulting, Ernst and Young, The European Free Trade Association and Volvo.
When I’m not working, I love playing with my dog, Oszkar. I love the ability dogs have to live for now and be in the moment – simply loving every opportunity to play and be happy. This child-like state is a place I try to visit regularly, reminding me of the importance of embracing the simple, fun and here and now moments in life.
On a Sunday afternoon: You will probably find me taking long walks along the beach with my wife and dog, enjoying the sense of space and freedom the ocean gives me.
What do we need to transform our world?: For everyone to first and foremost learn to love and accept themselves for who they are.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?: Probably horse riding high up in the Andes without ever having been on a horse before.
Personal Message: Life is very short and we only get one chance – so don’t waste a minute! Learn to love yourself and find out what really excites you and go for it 150%!

I’m a Coach, Training Consultant, Mentor, Facilitator, a Mum to Grace & Jack, wife to Gary & a daughter & friend to many. I’ve enjoyed a great career of sales marketing and management roles in a variety of companies, such as Courtaulds & The FT Group & in some small family companies you’ll never have heard of. One thing’s remained consistent in my business life and that is my passion about making a difference, inspiring people to be at their best and enjoy fun, balance & success in their lives.
Since joining the world of business owners, I’ve loved the variety of my work, training over 1000 leaders in coaching skills, delivering leadership programmes in the UK, Denmark, Lithuania, The Middle East & The US, designing and delivering Work Life Balance solutions for many well known large organisations including Microsoft, Astrazeneca, The Fire Service, PWC, Local Government Authorities to name a few & coaching many individuals.
When I’m not working, I love playing with my children – there’s something magical about children & their energy & their amazing creative imaginations. I also enjoy dancing, walking, being out in the fresh air and watching football – my team is Nottingham Forest.
On a Sunday afternoon: I love getting out in the fresh air , walking and just being. The freedom of being outdoors is something I absolutely love and is a great escape from the busy pace of life in the 21st century.
What do we need to transform our world?: Fun & lots of it, respect for ourselves AND for others.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?: Definitely, doing a bungy jump in New Zealand. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and yet I was proud I’d pushed myself through my fear of doing it.
Personal Message: I believe that life is meant to be fun and easy and that we can achieve anything we put our minds to. Being real and being true to ourselves is a fundamental part of all that. So WAKE UP & live the fantastic life you deserve!

The majority of my working life has been in the corporate environment in a high pressure commercial capacity. I have lectured in Business and Management Studies within the higher education sector, worked within the NHS as a senior manager and have worked alongside a number of charities both in my professional life as a coach-trainer but also in my private life in a fundraising capacity.
Over the last 3 years I have worked intensively with over 1500 junior, middle and senior managers both in the UK and internationally.
I’ve managed a number of re-structuring processes but have also myself been the subject of downsizing in my earlier career. I see all life experiences as an opportunity for growth and am passionate about helping other people to see, appreciate and act upon those opportunities. I’m passionate about continuous improvement and the benefits of an emotionally intelligent society.
My favourite movie is: Shirley Valentine.
Because……: I think it is such a fantastic example of someone who is unhappy focusing on something they want and taking action to achieve their goals against all odds. I love it!
On a Sunday afternoon: I love walking in the hills, breathing in the fresh air and simply enjoying the tranquility and simple beauty of the countryside. I particularly enjoy a coastal walk in the middle of winter when the waves are crashing on the beach and all you can hear is the roaring of the waves. For me, both of these experiences just seem to keep everything else in perspective.
What do we need to transform our world? Fun, tolerance, enough resources to share around and a willingness to do so
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Oh my goodness. It was definitely snogging a reindeer in Lapland, but I can explain! I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Yuck!
Personal Message: I believe that we are all capable of achieving our goals and aspirations whether it is at work, at home or in our relationships. The ability to define what ‘success’ actually means to us though and being able to set and work through a realistic plan of action is what determines our ability to achieve it.. If you are ready for the success you deserve reach out and grasp the opportunities in front of you with both hands and don’t let go. This is your time, your life – don’t be late!

Health, energy and vitality are very important to me. As a Nutritionist and Coach my goal is always to educate and empower my clients to achieve optimal health and wellbeing in mind and body.
Another of my passions is learning, be it formally or through the many experiences that life provides. I believe learning opens new doors, helps us to grow, gives us insight, empowers us and helps us to understand the world and people around us.
When I’m not working with people I’m usually socialising with them! I love spending time with friends and family and meeting new people and having a good laugh. Being Irish and an extrovert is a great combination for this!
On a Sunday afternoon: A really good Sunday lunch followed by a walk with my hubbie and dog on the Cornish cliffs and beaches followed by snuggling up on the sofa with a good book or film and a glass of wine....perfect!
What do we need to transform our world? Openmindedness, tolerance and a willingness to understand ourselves so that we can better understand each other.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Galloping a horse across the Australian outback without having had any horse riding lessons followed by a swim in a river with crocodiles – the ones that don’t eat people! It was crazy but exhilarating!
Personal Message: George Bernard Shaw sums it up for me: "Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."

In the last 10 years I have been working with communication in relation to sales and negotiation. I am deeply dedicated to exploring and understanding how communication impacts on business results.
As a trainer and a coach I have experienced first hand the importance of addressing attitudes, values and habits in training. Powerful presentations are very often delivered by people who have the skills and a high regard for themselves.
I have conducted training seminars around the world and even though I’m not an expert on cultural differences, I know first hand that my work applies to people whether they live in Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore or Spain. To date I have trained almost a 1000 leaders in Effective Communication, which has led to improved communication and relationships, better results and less conflict and confusion in many organisations such as Vestas Wind Systems, Carlsberg, and FLSmidth.
I was a trainer on a Master of Executive Negotiation programme targeted at experienced negotiators. A role I enjoyed very much.
Outside work I am the proud father of twins Emilie and Nikoline. They will constantly remind me of the importance of good communication and negotiation skills.
At the age of 10 I was recorded in the Guinness World Records as the youngest child to run a marathon in Denmark.
On a Sunday afternoon: You will probably find me running in the wood, enjoying the mindfulness the run gives me.
What do we need to transform our world? Choose today to do things differently than we did yesterday.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Once I went on a 5 day canoe trip in Sweden with a good friend. We ended up carrying the canoe for a longer distance than we paddled it.
Personal Message: If you keep thinking the same things in the same way, you’ll get the same results!
